My son brought his car in for problems he was having. They charged $200 for diagnostic services, which I thought was high. When I told them that, they said "go ahead and get a competing diagnostic charge, and we'll work with you." We did, and found a diagnostic charge that was $110 at Brookside Rx. They dug in their heels and did not work with us on the diagnostic charge. My experience is that young people, and my wife, get taken advantage of at auto repair places. This place is no exception. I do not recommend them. (RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE below) A Brookside 66 employee told me he would work with me if I found the same service to be less at another service center. I found a diagnostic fee that was significantly less, and you would not work with me/my son. This is a matter of integrity. After reading other reviews, it appears I am not alone. That said, the work being done to fix the car at a very reputable garage is less than half of what your quote was. Integrity + Way too expensive + Customer Service (condescension) = Not going to you guys, nor will I recommend you.

I have been a customer of Brookside 66 for more than 20 years, and have trusted the crew and the staff with both minor and major repairs. I have never been disappointed with the service I have received. There is much less bureaucracy, and much less nonsense, with Brookside 66 than with a dealership, and I greatly value the attention I receive -- I am not a number to Brookside 66, nor am I a wallet to be pilfered, but I am instead made to feel that I am a valued customer.
